Lissy ten Hoopen

Business Manager

Lissy is the Business Manager at Vitality by Dr. Bago, where she oversees daily practice operations, supports staff and providers, and ensures patients receive the highest standard of care throughout their experience. She plays a central role in maintaining smooth workflow, fostering team collaboration, and upholding a patient-centered environment rooted in dignity, respect, and kindness.

She brings over 30 years of experience in medical administration, practice development, and healthcare operations. Throughout her career, she has supported physicians, helped launch and stabilize medical practices, and guided organizations through financial and operational challenges. As a former owner of a medical billing company, she specialized in insurance navigation, revenue cycle management, and patient advocacy, always prioritizing transparency and integrity in care delivery.

In her role at Vitality, Lissy ensures that both patients and staff are supported in a positive, healthy, and efficient environment. She believes that exceptional patient care begins with a strong, supported team, and she is dedicated to creating a workplace culture where providers and staff feel valued, allowing that sense of care and positivity to extend naturally to patients.

She finds the most fulfillment in witnessing patients heal and transform physically, mentally, and emotionally, and in seeing individuals take ownership of their health journey. Lissy is passionate about helping create a space where patients feel empowered, informed, and genuinely cared for.

Outside of work, Lissy is deeply committed to animal rescue and enjoys caring for animals in need. She also enjoys writing comedy, producing creative projects with her sister, practicing yoga, and exploring healthy cooking. Comedy serves as both her creative outlet and her personal therapy.

Her personal motto is: “Write your eulogy today and include all the wonderful things you’d like to be remembered for. Then spend the rest of your life becoming that person.”
